I think it's real, but a few things threw me off - the coach dust bag, (I've never seen a purple-brown with silver one before.) The tag was on the inside, kind of a weird format, too. There was also a cheapy-security magnetic thing in the pocket. No coach care card. The actual purse looks good, I just wanted a second opinion...

It looks ok.
The ones with the X after the style number were made specifically for department stores. Coach has started to tag some of the bags sold at department stores with an X after the style number on the price tag.
For any listing that you're interested in, make sure there are many pictures of the bag, including a closeup picture of the creed. Many of the listings on ebay right now for this style show only one picture, one stock photo, or have minimal pictures and no picture of the creed.

It's authentic.
The dustbag is also fine. The price tag is fine. This is the way the new tags look. Display bags are usually tagged on the inside. Good that you found the "cheapy-security magnetic thing in the pocket" because many people have complained about their bags setting off security alarms in stores and they couldn't figure out why. Later they discovered that one of the strips was in a pocket.
