HI,

Can someone help me authenticate this bag, or atleast tell me if it is real.
Sorry I only have one picture as my friend who wants to sell it 2 me only gave me one picture.

Sorry, it's impossible and unreasonable for us to try to authenticate from one picture. Fake bags can easily be hidden as real if we don't have all the pictures to make an accurate assumption of the legitimate nature of the bag.

If you friend is really a friend, then they should be more than willing to accommodate you with additional pictures (inside, creed, serial #, pictures of zippers and hardware). Look forward to seeing you post again with more pictures so we can help you out. I would hate for you to buy it from your friend and then find out later it was not the real bag you were lead to believe it was.

We need to see more pictures, and so do you if you're thinking of buying it. If it's genuine she shouldn't object to taking more pics.

We need to see - Hardware especially any place where the name Coach is stamped, inside and lining, clear readable photo of the creed patch. Frankly, there's at least one area that is looking questionable. Don't hand over any money just yet.

My boyfriend bought me this bag for Christmas. It's cute, I like it, but he's convinced that it's real Coach. I, on the other hand, am almost positive that it's a knock-off. He bought it from his best friend's aunt, so he figured she was just giving him a good deal. She apparently had an array of fake and real coach, and he got to choose one of the "real" ones. Oh, men. After I told him it was fake, he apparently talked to the aunt who says "it's real." My boyfriend is actually getting mad at me because she seems so sure that it's authentic. Huh. If my pictures (below) aren't ENOUGH proof, I don't know HOW to prove to him that I'm right and she's lying to him. So, I'm actually most curious as to WHAT BAG the creed really belongs to. When I was researching the serial number, I discovered that many bags "claim" this specific creed patch.

BTW, I have NEVER seen this design before, and I seriously searched everywhere online. Some of the stitching is also sloppy. :P Still love it! Hah :) Thanks for your help, merry christmas<3
I pulled out the inside lining, QUALITY stitching. Notice: it's sewn over a few times on the left, and there a few places where strings are loose in and on the purse.

Very fake, sorry, for all the reasons you gave and because it has a very well-known fake serial number that's been on the master Fakes list for years. Coach made a slightly similar style but it was made just in the last year or so and the serial number EVEN if it was legitimate would indicate a bag made in 2004. The bag in your photos is a fake piece of junk.

Here's a link to the permanent Fake Serial Numbers List posted in a different thread - the 5659 part of the number indicates a totally different style bag:

Oh, please, DON'T keep your opinions to yourself. He's being really defensive over this woman... who is obviously not being very honest at all. She also claimed she personally bought the bag from Coach. I'm sure, lmao.

Tell your BF that if he wants to give you a Coach, just buy a Gift Card from Coach.com and not a bag from some crook with a closet full of cheap fakes. And tell him to tell his buddy that selling counterfeit goods of ANY kind is against Federal Law. Hope Auntie's got a good lawyer.

He was being so defensive, and I was really beginning to wonder how much he spent on it :/, but the dorkwad (or the lying seller) forgot to take the price tag out of the little fake insert baggies and it was less than $30 (she apparently gave him another discount.) Hhahahahaaa, damn, the real purses are so cute! I want a real one next year ;)

Hyacinth and PCL already said what they think of the bag and the aunt. I just want to add that I'm very sorry that your boyfriend's best friend has a aunt that would rip off her nephew's friend......and on Christmas yet.
