this is a local listing on Craigslist in my area. does it appear authentic?

Please ask for more pictures of the bag and a clear, closeup picture of the creed.

I don't see any reason why she isn't able to take more pictures. There should be pictures of the front, back, bottom, sides, inside, and hardware. The White color for Legacy bags shows dirt easily and is hard to keep clean, so it's important to see clear pictures to check out the condition of the bag as well. IMO, this seller doesn't sound very accommodating. If she really wanted to sell the bag, she would provide the pictures requested. I wouldn't buy from a Craigslist seller who doesn't provide additional pictures because there's no way of knowing whether the one picture in the listing is even the seller's own picture.

Thank you! I met with her today and they were the bags from the pictures. The satchel style hasn't been used at all and because I got them both, I was able to know $40 off the combine prices! Your help is greatly appreciated!

#1 - This is fake. Wrong shaped C's, wrong logo font.

#2 - It would be helpful to see a closeup picture of the underside of the brown Coach tag.

#3 - It would be helpful to see a closeup picture of the underside of the brown Coach tag and closer picture of the scarf. You may also want to check out the seller's feedback. There are several comments of items having more wear than described:

#4 - It looks like the seller has acquired a bunch of these scarves which the listing states were made as a custom order and were given out as gifts to commemorate the merger of Harrah's and Caesar's Entertainment (thus the Harrah's logo on the scarf). It appears to be legit, though more opinions are welcome. Here is the website for the company listed on the return label of the box in the last picture:

Is that your site?

If so, I have a problem recommending it because there are quite a few listings where there aren't enough pictures and/or listings where the pictures are either stock photos stolen from Coach's website or photos "borrowed" from other websites or sellers. Some pictures are watermarked by the sellers or sites from which they came.

Both look okay although #2 should show more pictures. Especially with pre-owned bags, it's important for the buyer to know the extent of use and any indications of scratches, stains, scuffs or damage.
