I have a quick question. Is it wrong to bid on something from a seller who keeps your identity private...even if you are sure the bag is authentic?
I don't know who the seller is so understand that I'm not alleging anything. That said, there are powersellers, TRS and "regular" sellers who have engaged in obvious shill bidding, picture theft and other violations, but with private bidding, it's much more difficult (though not impossible) to prove and also harder to see the seller's history.

IMO, unless a seller is selling erotic items, fetish items or something that there is good reason to protect buyer identities, I don't see a valid reason for it.

JMHO.

Please authenticate, TIA!!!

It appears to be ok.

Hi BeenBurned...thanks a million for the reply..i totally did not see your response till today...i feel so much better when you say that at least the bag looks authentic...also i see that a lot of these Kristin limited edition bags have peach colored lining...so maybe this bag was super exclusive(i am trying to console myself)...anyways you response atleast makes me comfortable to carry this bag..i do not want to be caught carrying a fake purse

I didn't respond earlier because I don't know of the existence of different lining colors. I don't know whether there are instances where Coach has used different lining colors on bags.

But based on the construction, stitching, hardware, creed, font, etc., I don't see anything to indicate that it's fake. But I also can't state (unequivocally) that it's authentic either.

In this case, I'm not sure that taking it to a Coach store is going to be too helpful. If you tell them you purchased from eBay, they'll probably pronounce it fake based on their previous history of hating ebay. Additionally, I'm not sure that the employees know enough about the minute details (i.e. lining colors of various colors and lines of bags) to offer helpful information.

Edited to add:
Is it possible that this variation might have been an exclusive color combination made for a particular department store?

You're welcome.

Good Day all...

Is this authentic.... ??? I love the look of this bag... but am leery that it may not be real...

THANKS ALL...
One picture isn't enough to authenticate. We need to see closeups of the creed, the imprint on the front, the back, inside and hardware.

When you request pictures, you might also want to let the seller know that she's not allowed to offer "optional insurance." If a seller wants to protect herself, either she pays for the insurance or she adds it into the shipping cost. But she cannot make buyers pay separately.
