That seems to be the case. The early Made In China business bags would usually have some imperfections but there don't seem to be any obvious fakes. That one seems to be a genuine Double Zip Organizer Brief with a messed-up month code which sometimes happened iin newer non-US plants. It can make them tricky to sell though if you get a buyer who's read too many of those bogus "authenticiity guides".

Even a lot of Coachies don't realize just how early Coach started making bags in China.

Most definitely fake. Wrong lining and creed amongst other things. There is a "Report Item" link on the right side of the auction under the seller info and the item info.
