No, style 40883 was a Bleecker Slim Envelope style. I don't have any photos for comparison, sorry.
There's no way to really be sure but it might be a Utility Purse # 7160 from the mid-1980s. If it has a separate smooth leather lining rather than just the sueded reverse of the outside leather, that's probably it.
Without having photos or a genuine version to compare it to, I don't know. The Bleeckers were faked a LOT but they usually just faked the Checkbook styles.
Or it could be an outlet style, no way to tell.

I have a Bleecker Med wallet that was NOT full size and had a clear ID slot and change/coin on the back and was in tan (not buckskin) and was a later production in the years of the Bleecker. I don't have a long style to compare to help either I'm sorry to say.

I have the Bleecker Woven Full size slim envelop wallet 41567 and it DOES NOT have the clear ID slot. Except for the woven outside flap it looks just like the pic of the one Wis3ly posted (inside and out). I can post pics of it tomorrow if that will help. But because it a woven Bleecker the style number is different and might not be useful. But happy to do so if it will help.
