Thanks, all! This is at least the third time this forum has saved me from making a mistake. Looks like seller sophistifashion is doing SOMETHING wrong (other than being very rude). With sometimes different serial #s G1P-9950, L1P-9950, L3W-9950, same pictures as in the listing mentioned above from May are in a current listing under item # 130399546785: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130399546785&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I found the same listing title in feedback for 11/7/09, 8/16/09, 12/16/08, (feedback was "Very nice - received quickly - but is it authentic."), 11/10/08 & 4/15/08. Too old to see if they were the same pics. :tdown:

Regarding sophistifashion, the least of her problems is her rudeness. In the past, she has been found to list fakes (knowingly or not), obviously not authenticating her items prior to listing them.

And as you've found, a serious problem is her use of recycled pictures. (Many sellers of NWT items purchase multiples and use one set of pictures for each. Personally, I don't have a problem with that since the items are new and unused.)

But especially when selling pre-owned bags, it's important to show pictures of the actual items so buyers can see the extent of use, damage, marks, stains, etc. And even in recycling the use of pictures of different items, her descriptions often tend to minimize or omit disclosure of "issues."

You're fortunate to have been "saved" from making a mistake and I'm glad this forum has helped you. And your own research also shows that our comments aren't something that we've "made up" based on vendettas against certain sellers.
