Comment: Seller claim This bag may be "Designer Inspired" I'm not sure.

It's fake. The auction can be reported for having an authenticity disclaimer.

The seller also has this other fake Coach bag:

Please report.

I am pretty certain that this wallet is real, but I want to be sure. I can't remember where I purchased it. :ashamed

Thanks so much!

Bleecker Checkbook Wallets are among some of the most highly faked styles of wallets. Unless it's an obvious fake, it is VERY hard to authenticate wallets from pictures.

There are a few things that have me concerned from your pictures. There's a quality I'm not liking about the stitching. The other red flag has been mentioned by others. I'm also concerned about the price tag. The tag has a quality I've seen before that makes me uneasy. Can you show the other side of the tag? Also, there's something on the address insert that has me uneasy. Can you get a straight-on picture of the insert (both front and back)? The care card is for the wrong item. From what I can see, that's a care card for a signature item. I'd also like to see front and back pictures of this.

Did this wallet come with a box? If so, can you post a picture of it? Can you also post closeup, straight-on pictures of the stamped logo on the inside of the checkbook cover, and pictures of both parts of the snap? I'd also like to see a closeup, straight-on pictures of the stamp on the front of the wallet and on the checkbook cover. If you can remember where this was purchased, that would be helpful.

EDITED TO ADD: Is that the tissue paper that came with the wallet?

the wallet looks very good but my manager told me something

I asked her for the style number and it doesn't exist neither does the sku

sorry but THAT is very shady

If we're still talking about the leather Bleecker wallet, the style # 40884 is genuine. But it wouldn't surprise me that the SKU was fake since the wallet has other red flags, and the color of the leather looks too dark to be British Tan. There's a problem with the tissue paper too, including where some of it's placed.

Here's Coach's pic of style # 40884 in British Tan - BTW, that's one of the styles where a major detail on the production wallet is different than in the official photos:

Does it have a really looooong leather zipper pull like this one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-Tan-Leath...tem&pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item563c5a9285

If so...it's probably the "Basic Bag" style 9455. Though the strap is missing?

One other Coach brochure lists it as the "Zippered Clutch".

:smile1:

:confused1:Is it still the same bag(zippered or basic) if it has the glued-in serial #? My reason for asking is that I now have 5 bags of this type with the glued-in serial, a Basic Bag included....just in different depths.

Although the last picture shows a tag and receipt, the pictures are very blurry so it's impossible to tell if they belong to the item shown. And since the tag isn't attached, I wonder whether the seller has used the bag (however gently) and that's why she cannot return it.

If that's the case, the bag shouldn't be sold as NWT.

Please request clearer and closer pictures of the bag as well as the creed and the tag.

Thank you BeenBurned for your help! I got an email from the seller who said that she cut off the tag but she has not used it...and doesn't want to return it to the store because she would "hurt" her husband's feeling..in any case the tags are cut off so I will not be bidding for this item. Thanks again for your help! :D

You're welcome.

I had to laugh at the seller's response about returning the bag.

She'll hurt her hubby's feelings if she returns it but it's okay to sell it?
