Genuine, it's called a Saddlery Bag, style 9535 from aound 1987. The original price was $128 and the color is probably Putty.

I'm not sure why you think it's fake, but it's a good thing you asked before reporting. It's a Limited Edition Alligator Frame Bag (real, NOT embossed) and was in Coach's Early Summer 2005 catalog for $1750.

Hard to believe there aren't any bids yet.

Guess I was skeptical because there is no (clear) pic. of the creed and the sellers (0) feedback... I wasn't going to report it though, I was just 'window shopping' and came across it.

Does Coach use any exotic real skins - alligator, python, etc. anymore?
When I looked at a python purse in Reed Krakoff, they told me it is illegal to sell or ship a python item to California.

I was going to say that I don't see anything that indicates it's fake and I see that Hyacinth already confirmed it.

They still make a few exotic leather bags every year, but I think they're sold just at the flagship and high income-area stores. And no, python items can't be sold in CA.
