I'm sorry but it's fake. It has an invalid serial number for the style, in fact a commonly seen serial number on many different styles of fakes. The lining is wrong, the pattern prints are wrong, the back of the bag is incorrect, the stitching is a sloppy mess. The bag isn't vintage (even if it were authentic.) ....there's nothing right about it.
I don't know the dispute process on Etsy but I'd go ahead and file a dispute against the seller, Bugocksvintage.
It's illegal to sell fakes and it was the seller's responsibility to authenticate the bag before listing so the seller can state "no refunds" till the cows come home but all bets are off when they sell counterfeit goods.
So I just found out that 1 of the 2 bags I bought is a fake. Could you please help me with the 2nd one.

I believe the bag in the listing is authentic but it looks like Coach's quality control missed a HUGE mistake!! It should never have escaped someone's eyes. But please wait for other opinions on this one!! Good catch!

They were mixed in with the perfect purple sophias and were being sold at the same price! When I brought it to the attention of a manager, she knew all about it and said it was a "special bag!" I was shocked!
I sent an email to customer service and got a non-response that they would look in to it.
