^the bag is real, and it looks like the first picture was taken outdoors to give it the natural light color pic and the rest was indoors

i'd only be careful of the feedback, has a bad history of misrepresenting something as new when its not, etc etc--i didn't read all of the neg feedback but it seems the majority surrounds problem communication w/seller, misrepresenting, etc, but nothing on selling fakes.

item name: COACH 100%AUTH SLATE GREY LEATHER JULIANNE HANDBAG
item number: 250610636398
seller name: thesassyone

comment: Since both Starrymaz and BeenBurned both commented that pictures are not taken at the same location, should I not bit? If the seller is using defferent pictures for the same bag, does it mean it could be fake?? Please help!!!!!

The reason I commented on the first picture is because the background of the picture is not consistent with the seller's other pictures. I'm not sure if the first picture is a "borrowed" picture - I wasn't able to find a source for it. It's just odd because the picture is a different size than the other pictures and the background is not a background that is used in any of the seller's other auctions. The seller doesn't appear to have taken any other pictures with an outside background in any of his/her other auctions. The other pictures in this auction appear to the be seller's own pictures. The bag in those pictures looks ok.

You may want to check out the seller's feedback. There are complaints from buyers about items being in worse condition than described.

Thank you for being so careful and knowledgeable!! It does sound suspicious... Maybe I should contact the seller about the condition of this item...

The auction doesn't mention whether the bag is new or pre-owned, but since there is no price tag attached, I assume it's a pre-owned bag. In the description, the seller states that the bag is "in perfect condition - free of any flaw."

SCRATCHYCAT SAID:

THANK YOU. I will do that. My 5 year old niece can have it if it is a fake.

Does this make sense - creed says made in US with L4A-9950 as registration. There are "stamp marks" above the L4A-9950, like the die that came down to punch that number made ridges above it. I don't have a good feeling.....

Those "overstamping" marks above or below the serial number are normal on many older Coaches and if they'r exactly as they're supposed to be, can be a good indicator that the bag is genuine. But we really need to see photos since those marks have also been faked. You mentioned the measurements being smaller than other Janice's Legacy bags, but are you comparing it to an actual bag or just to measurements you've found online or in someone's listing? Measuring a purse isn't an exact scienece and a lot of measurements can show big differences for the same bag, even Coach's own website measurements. There's one slightly unusual digit in the serial number but I'd really need to see a photo of the entire creed stamp along with the usual pics of the rest of the bag.

Based on the feedback alone, if I were buying, I think I'd wait to find another seller.

Thanks!!!
It looks like a genuine Medium Slim Leather Duffle.
I certainly defer knowledge of classic leather Coach bags to Hyacinth, but the font on the serial number's prefix didn't look right to me so I searched for other style 9818 and I'm not sure that the listing from ucc.vintageclothing-2009 matches what 9818 is supposed to look like.
