That's incorrect.

An "F" at the beginning of a serial number indicated that the bag was made in June.

A MFF bag has an "F" before the style number portion of the serial number.

Examples (using random style and factory codes):

F09X-12345 = made in June of 2009 and the style number is 12345

F09X-F12345 = made in June of 2009 and it's a MFF style 12345

So in that case, just making sure I'm right...on my Maggie the creed numbers are F0982-14336. That means my bag was made in June 2009 yes? And then the leather Maggie style number of 14336?

She's real, and was made in February 2009, probably for spring/summer 2009 collection. She retailed for $358.
