Does this look authentic. Am really wanting this bag but really unsure
about purchasing off e-bay.

Also found this one but note it doesn't have the back zipper.

Your help is greatly appreciated. My first post so sorry if I did something wrong!
They're different styles. The second listing's seller has the wrong style number in the description. I can't read the style number on the creed but it's not 12475.

So what are you're thoughts on the first listing? I really think the 2nd one is a fake as it doesn't have the zipper on the bag side. The first one must have been purchased at an outlet as it has the circle mark on the patch. The person on the first one says they will accept returns but am still a little gun shy. I don't mind spending the money as long as it's authentic!

I don't see any problems with either. As I said in my previous response, they are two different styles. (Originally, seller #2 showed a different bag with a different style number on the creed. The back of the bag without a zipper was from a different purse.)

I think seller #2 revised the listing and corrected the pictures. Both listings show the same bag, same style numbers and both have zippers on the back.

If you look at the revisions, you can see that she corrected her lisitng: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemRevisionDetails&item=280449755737

Do these look real ? the pic looks real but then I am not sure with sunglasses and they seem to be a really good deal which probably means they are fake

TIA
That listing from the seller appears to be a stock photo and there are no other pictures of the actual item.

Other listings show multiple pictures of important details. I wonder why the seller has some listings with great pictures and other listings with only a stolen stock photo.

Personally, I wouldn't advocate buying from a seller who doesn't use his/her own pictures.

In the future, please post in the format requested in the first post of the thread. It helps in future searches for seller IDs.

That wallet isn't a checkbook wallet. It's a slim envelope wallet.

As for purchasing it, I don't recommend buying Coach wallets from people with whom you aren't familiar and who don't have an established reputation of selling genuine Coach items.

There are just too many "good" fake Coach wallets to take a chance on a Craigslist item.

I appreciate your advice thanks a lot. :smile1:
Actually I was able to find real stuff on craigslist with the help of this site..:D it's just a matter of knowing what to look for that indicates weather its real or fake and I really owe it to this site. The best!!!

So when it comes to wallet like this one that I posted. What should I look for to identify its authenticity?

It looks like a Sheridan Marietta Drawstring although it's hard to be sure without a serial number. I'd say it's genuine.

Thank you everyone for helping me. I still want to purchase a coach handbag and the search continues...

Can someone help me verify whether this is an authentic coach handbag? Many thanks.

More pictures are needed.

If you can get them, please request pictures of the front, back, side, strap, lining and creed.

I did see your post but didn't respond because I didn't feel I could give a definitive answer.

The seller shows just one picture of each item and although the one photo doesn't have any red flags, we need to see more photos. There's no way of knowing whether the single picture is the actual item they sell.

If you can request clear pictures of the inside of both arms, the logo or markings on the temples and the earpiece end of the arm with the Coach "rivet-type" hardware, that would help.

Thank you!!! You make a good point about only one picture. I will email and see if I can gain more pics and then post back. Thank you for your help!

I've never seen anything quite like it. The metal hardware where the straps attach is very different.

It surely looks like an older Coach, though it would be hard to prove with no markings.

The lining does look like the lining Bonnie Cashin used in her bags. I just don't know.

:confused1:

Thanks DemRam! I'm definitely intrigued by this bag. My curiosity may get the better of me in the end!

With only a single photo, it's impossible to verify authenticity.

In fact, I'm not sure the seller even uses her own pictures. There isn't much of a history selling handbags, but the seller did sell another Coach bag, but the background is different:

If you already received the bag, please post some additional pictures. Show the front, back, side, strap, inside and creed.
Thanks for your help...I'll post more pics when it gets here:) Yes, this is the same seller...I really hope this is all good!

You're welcome.

I always wonder why a seller will show multiple great pictures in one listing and only a stock photo in another. It makes me question whether the pictures are his own, and if so, why not use your own pictures for everything.

Please do post the pictures in you get them.

OH! I am finding it so hard to buy from ebay!! Why can't everyone just sell genuine products or state the product as it is a replica or genuine!!

Can someone help me verify whether this is an authentic coach handbag? Many thanks.
