THANKS A BUNCH!

I agree that the creed is different but I'm not sure that the bag is fake. (I don't know for sure that it's authentic either but sometimes there are differences in the pilot styles that Coach changes when they produce the final product.

Does the buyer accept returns? When I'm not positive about authenticity= if they take returns I will purchase if it looks authentic "beyond a reasonable doubt" LOL....you can always return if it doesn't pan out or if the condition is less than perfect. It's a great bag, by the way :graucho:

For the vintage experts!

Item: Coach Teal Leather Handbag
Listing #: 170430052307
Seller: matt_2773
Link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170430052307&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I emailed the seller. The bag doesn't have a stamp on the interior. I thought the interior looked a lot like the old Bonnie Cashin stripes. Any thoughts?
TIA!

I've never seen anything quite like it. The metal hardware where the straps attach is very different.

It surely looks like an older Coach, though it would be hard to prove with no markings.

The lining does look like the lining Bonnie Cashin used in her bags. I just don't know.

:confused1:

I have 1 more Close Up photo of the debossed Coach logo on the front of the purse, above the zipper, but I've maxed out on the files it will allow me to attach. I can provide it in a separate posting if requested.

The picture in the Craigslist ad is stolen from this ebay seller and has her watermark: glo02

Personally, I wouldn't do business with a seller who steals another seller's work. There's no way of knowing that the additional pictures are the seller's own or if they were stolen also.

The description was also stolen from the ebay seller.

Why not ask the seller why they'd "borrow" the work of someone else?

I'm talking about the craigslist seller who stole the picture from the ebay seller.

I'm on it! I pretty much told them if they don't respond back to me and this is a scam, I am reporting them to PayPal for starters. Their email address is recognized by eBay, but eBay wont tell me their user ID as part of their seller protection. Craigslist probably wont do anything for me, so I am emailing PayPal as well to dispute and hopefully get my money back. Thank you!

Are you showing the correct seller ID for the link you've posted?

The seller whose listing you show is a 0-feedback seller from Hong Kong. The first picture appears to be a stock photo stolen from somewhere and the other 2 photos might not even belong to the seller.

The seller ID you've posted does have the same style bag listed and although I don't see any problems, please wait for other opinions on authenticity.

Hi, Thanks for taking a look. I did mess up with my post this morning. I am bad, I was trying to type my message while my daughter was in my car, honking, wanting to leave for school.
Anyway, I am new at looking at ebay for Coach purses. I see the location is from Hong Kong. Not good
Thank you,
pitterpatter

Arrgh!! Wait a second. I thought you were looking at a Craigslist item where the CL seller stole the picture from an ebay seller.

I'm confused why paypal and ebay are involved.

Glo02 sells authentic items on ebay and the Craiglist posting you showed (which I think you might have bought) stole a picture.

I have no idea whether the item you bought on Craigslist is authentic or not because we don't know whether your seller used any of her own pictures.
