Not sure where else to post, seems like this would be better than making a thread for it.

If someone is selling a fake Coach on my local Kijiji site, if I asked them to meet me at Coach to authenticate, and they agree, will said bag be confiscated?

I wonder why she seems to purposely avoid showing the serial number.

Please wait for other opinions on this one.

(Personally, I wouldn't buy from this seller.)

I agree, any regular Coach seller should always include pics of the serial number, especially on an older bag.

Here's your answer from the horse's mouth... I was trying to highlight and SHOW that the bag was made in the UNITED STATES. I had to do a close up to catch that and cut off part of the label. I did POST the entire number in the description. I get MANY buyers (hundreds of very happy ones, by the way)that \ want USA bags only. So when I get one I like to high;light this feature.
Personally...I have NEVER sold not ONE Dooney Bag let alone a fake one. Where do you get your information?? And false info at that! # 2 I have NEVER sold one fake Coach bag. Please do not make false statements such as these. I made one mistake one year ago and listed a Coach that I genuinely thought to be authentic, but after further inspection, I found that it was not authentic and I PULLED the listing . It was NEVER SOLD to anyone.
Please check me out on Toolhaus, or wherever else you like I don't appreciate FALSE statements being made about me...Sincerely Jerri

Jenin; That link doesn't work. Just get on the Coach website and type in 9966 in their search bar, and you will see that it is currently on their website for $288.00. Coach still sells many of their Legacy Classics.

I found it odd that she says it's currently listed on the Coach website.. why would you say that when it's clearly an older Legacy (if it's actually real).

Did you even bother to go to the Coach website to look it up? Or do you expext these ladies to do it for you? What is so 'odd' about this? This Legacy Zip bag has been one of Coach's Classic Favorites for 3 decades and STILL IS...Please check the Coach website and do your own search, to see that my statement in the listing, is accurate.
The Coach website has a little search bar in the upper right hand corner after you open up their home page. There you can type in 'Legacy Zip 9966' and there it will be. It's real simple. Go ahead and try it... Hope it isn't too hard for you.Good Luck...

I'm a new user, so not sure if this will post, but I wish I found this forum last year when my son purchased a coach purse for me on ebay and just recently a wallet. I would like a seller authenticated. I'll see if this goes through first and then post my information.
