You have a lot more experience with Coach clothing than I do. Do the fabric tag and the font on the Coach name look right?
I do have a large amount of clothing yes :) but I'm guessing the age on this one is older, hence why the tag is not as recognizable. The only older older Coach I have is an old leather trimmed wool blanket which I'm not sure we ever found out what the actual name of it was.

Never seen this before... if it's real I'll be on the look out for potentially a larger size! Otherwise it's going in the Deals Thread.

The tag photo is kind of blurry so the font could be distorted.

Can you ask for a clearer picture and also request the RN# from the reverse side of the tag?
I have asked for both clearer pictures and an RN # if one exists. Also asked if they recalled the year it was bought.

Thanks gang!

Thank you so much.

I would not buy from leyners2. It looks like there's shill bidding going on in this seller's auctions. The winner of 2 of her auctions, tk3master, has bid on several other of leyners2's auctions. The items in the two auctions that tk3master won were later relisted.

This auction was won by tk3master

Later relisted:

This auction also won by tk3master

Later relisted:

The same ID also bid on these auctions:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=220552674507

Both leyners2 and tk3master are located in the same state.

Alright. I got the wallet and here are my pictures:

It looks okay to me.

Wait for other opinions before leaving feedback.

(I still wouldn't do future business with kag_retail. This seller knows it's wrong to steal others' pictures which is why she crops identifying backgrounds from the pictures and why she mixes pictures from different sources.)

This sellers response (short form, does not see RN #):

"Hello, I am no photographer..lol
and this is a new camera.
I will read thru the manual & try to figure out how to get a better shot of tag & post it.

There is no lining, just like suede, and double leather I assume for reinforcement of the design -
where it is formed.

these are the measurements I came up with (lying flat);
bottom end to end 42'
neck with gold clasp 16"
mid length 20"
from neck top to bottom (not including string & clasp 18'.

I don't see an RN# - the tag reads "made in USA,
than the other tag has the coach logo & says - shell 100% leather attached to that is a tag that says the size 8, and also care on reverse side.
Which says- spot clean by leather professional only.

I cannot tell you how soft the leather is,
I have lambskin items - none are as soft as this.

As for when I purchased - I am going to guess 10-13 years ago.

It has never been worn and remained in the coach box which also has coach tissue paper.
It was kept on shelf with all my upscale bags in their dust bags.

The clasp around the neck is quite sturdy as well and attractive, there is also a gold whole on the top which is for the leather string to go thru when you wrap it around and also both ends of leather ties have gold tips on each end.

I will try to get a better photo of the tag posted as well as the inside.
leather is not easy to photograph (well not for me).

I hope this helps,
Thank You & Have a great day."

I don't recommend seller rhec1979. This is one example where "top rated seller" doesn't mean anything. Most of the seller's listings have just a single picture and in many of those instances, the picture is a stolen stock photo. So there's no way to know what the buyer will receive.

In this listing, although it's not a stock photo, the single picture isn't enough to determine authenticity and there's no way of knowing whether the picture even belongs to the seller.

Thank you very much BeenBurned.
I'm new on this tpf website and just found out that I can ask for the authentiticate coach on ebay listing here. I guess I was late because I bought a watch about 2 weeks ago on ebay, I thought it was authentic, but I just realized now that top rated seller can sell a fake too. I have 0 knowledege about coach since I just started to fall in love with this designer brand. My question is when I received the watch, it doesn't come with the instruction book on it, does it mean it is not authentic? I asked the seller last night, but they still hasn't answer my question. How do you know whether it is authentic or no. Can I just bring it to the movado store? because I live so far away from any coach store.
Here is the listing that I've already bought, I hope It is OK to ask about other than purse:

item: womens coach signature Lexington watch

Please don't misunderstand. I didn't say that the first seller has fakes. I don't know what the first seller has because she doesn't show pictures of the actual item and for those items that have pictures that aren't stock pix, there aren't enough pictures to determine authenticity.

As for the watch, I don't see any obvious problems but we need to see a clear (macro) closeup of the back of the watch.

This is a bag I already bought, at the coach outlet in Myrtle Beach, SC. Can you give me more information about it? Like what is the style number and name? It's my first Coach bag and I want to be sure I know exactly what it is. If this is the wrong place to get this information can you move it to the correct location? I've just found tpf and am soooooooooo excited! Thanks!!!!!

I fixed your link.

The bag looks okay but in order to confirm, we need to see a picture of the lining and a legible picture of the creed (at a minimum). The seller should be showing several additional pictures.
seller says the identification is: NoMO5Q-1481
Although that's a valid serial number for the bag, as I previously said, we need to see a picture of the creed. A valid serial number does not prove that a bag is authentic. (The counterfeiters do sometimes use legitimate serial number on fakes.)

I think the bag is probably okay but I recommend you ask the seller for a picture of the interior (lining) and a head on photo of the creed patch.

We always need to see a photo of the creed patch or stamp whenever possible.

If it's genuine, it's a Willis, not a Station Bag.

The creed is really washed out, unfortunately. All I can really make out is the number, it's J6C-9927.

Here are some pictures that might help.

I'll try to get the creed in better light, but it's really badly softened and as it is I can barely make out a single word on there. :confused1:

Thanks for your help~

O..ok, my bad, not read it carefully..:)
I tried to take a picture w/ my digicam, but it can't capture the back clearly.
What do you need to see to make sure that it is authentic.
Thanks again.
