Wait for other responses on this listing.

However, I do NOT recommend buying from coachbebe77. At the very least, the seller has a mix of fake and authentic items. The seller's completed listings have some fake Coach keychains and a questionable Coach denim patchwork listing from which she has removed the pictures.

This one's fake too, the keychain is missing something, and the font of the Coach logos on the hangtags isn't even close to Coach's trademarked font.

Sorry but the bag is fake. The serial number is a commonly seen fake number.

If you paid for the bag, can you get a refund? It's illegal to sell fakes so they owe you your money back.

No I didn't pay for it someone on an ebay board sent it to me. Well I paid shipping. I thought the leather felt off, not high quality like I've seen on leather coach purses before. She sent me a L'artigiano bag too, wonder if it's real.

I needed a bag to carry into the ports on our cruise this summer so I was looking for a messenger or cross body bag she said she had one and offered to send it (thought that was odd, who gives away a real coach). I don't want to carry a fake so I guess I'll start looking for a real one to buy.

Thank you

Ugh! A boardie sent you a "free" fake? I'd love to know the name of that boardie so I can be sure not to buy from or sell to her!

And IMO, if she made an "honest" mistake and didn't know the bag was fake, she should reimburse your shipping payment. (If I made an honest mistake, that's what I'd do!) I wonder whether she's honorable.

I think it might be okay but if you can request and post a clear picture of the creed, it would help.

It resembles style 8309 (see below) although the strap looks different. (There is sometimes a difference between the drilldown picture and the actual item that Coach made.)

I don't think the tag shown in the listing ($465) is anywhere near the original retail price. My guess would be in the $198 to $248 price range.

That price tag isn't even from a Coach.

The bag was called a Girlie Plaid Boucle Hobo from 2001 or 2002 and sold for $188 US in the fall of 2001. It NEVER would have retailed for anywhere close to $400.

I actually haven't paid shipping yet. I was waiting to see how much it was, just got it today. So I asked for her paypal addy this morning (before finding out it was a fake so I could send payment). I don't know if she knew it was fake or not, I sent her another email to let her know. The other bag is just one she tossed in. I don't know what the leather on it is suppose to feel like so not sure if it's right or not, feels really stiff. I'd think italian leather would be higher quality than this, it's probably fake too.

There's no way you should send payment for a fake.

If it's from someone who's actually posting at one of Ebay's own Boards, I'd like to know the name too. That number was outed as a fake at least 3 years ago so any Ebay boardie should recognise it.

If you'd like to send a private PM to either Been Burned or me with the seller's Ebay ID, we can take a closer look at that seller. But if it's from a board not connected to Ebay or tPF, we still might be able to figure out if she needs to be watched.

We always need to see a photo of the creed patch or stamp whenever possible.

If it's genuine, it's a Willis, not a Station Bag.

How do you send a PM?

I'm really confused now, I went back and looked at my post there and she stated she was sending a black leather (wristlet I assume since that is what we were chatting about at the time) that she knew was real. I was wondering how I wound up with 2 bags and thought maybe I just forgot what we agreed on. I'm not sending any shipping money for bags I never asked for. Maybe it's all a mix up.

Item: COACH 14010 LEGACY MULTI STRIPE SATIN LARGE TOTE

Seller: rhec1979

Comments: is this item authentic? thanks.
I don't recommend seller rhec1979. This is one example where "top rated seller" doesn't mean anything. Most of the seller's listings have just a single picture and in many of those instances, the picture is a stolen stock photo. So there's no way to know what the buyer will receive.

In this listing, although it's not a stock photo, the single picture isn't enough to determine authenticity and there's no way of knowing whether the picture even belongs to the seller.

Never seen this before... if it's real I'll be on the look out for potentially a larger size! Otherwise it's going in the Deals Thread.

You have a lot more experience with Coach clothing than I do. Do the fabric tag and the font on the Coach name look right?

The tag photo is kind of blurry so the font could be distorted.

Can you ask for a clearer picture and also request the RN# from the reverse side of the tag?
