IMO, a seller who ignores your questions before the sale doesn't deserve your hard-earned money.
If she ignores you before you buy from her, imagine how hard she'll be to deal with if there's a problem after the fact.

I just picked up my second Crescent Saddle Vintage Coach and need some info....The funny thing about this bag is it seems to have been made earlier than the ones I have seen around here with the Seam down the center. There is the Coach metal tag in place of the creed. But I think the leather is not as thick and heafty as the one that seems to have been made later....
Does any one have any insight into this bag? Is it possibly a Fake? Did they make fakes of bags from the 60's 70's?

There's definitely a few problems with that bag. Like you said, the inside zipper isn't right and never would have had a white border if it had been made by Coach. And I've never seen that shade of Pink or Rose on a bag from 1997 except for Sonomas. It's possible that either the inside zipper was replaced at some time or that tha bag itself may have been white but then was re-dyed Pink, or it's even possible that it was a special color made for one of their retailers. Coach did use plastic zippers inside some bags but always in a color that matched the leather color.
A much bigger problem is that the style number doesn't match the bag. The style # 9790 is for a City Bag, which doesn't have a full-length front flap with squared corners, and which has a wider shoulder strap with a buckle adjustment. In fact this looks more like a Pocket Purse which is style # 9755. And the measurements don't match the City Bag, AND the Pocket Purse isn't supposed to have an inside zipper.
It could simply be a bag with some mistakes, or it could be counterfeit, but I'm not 100 percent sure either way although I'm leaning toward counterfeit even though the creed stamping is almost perfect. We'd really need to see more photos.
The same seller also has a bag that looks exacly like a Bedford Flap but the style number stamped inside is 4154 instead of 4164. I would NOT advise bidding on either bag.
