Hi there ladies,

Please assist in authenticating this coach bag.

Thanks so much!! ;)

There's no in knowing if it's authentic since the seller stole pictures from Coach's website. These are all stock pictures. You could ask if the seller will send you actual pictures of the bag.

Runner22 is right. I wouldn't buy from a seller who can't be bothered with taking her own pictures. There's no telling what you'll end up receiving.

That's just one reason we keep telling posters NOT to depend on Google as a source of authenticity information. The last 4 digits in the small tan bag are NOT the style number, they're part of the older style Coach serial numbers and have no relation at all to the style. There are several posts in the Answers to Authenticity Questions thread that explain how to dissect a Coach serial number.

I'd still want to see a better photo of the creed stamp and also clear pics of the sides of the bag since I'm not sure when Coach started making bags with the dowel at the top, but it could be an early version of a Logan Bag, assuming they made that style in the 1980s. Or it might be a Post Pouch. But it's at least 15 years old and Google in addition to its other faults is almost useless on older bags.

Please ask here before depending on Google.

Cripes. Get your heckles down. I was just asking a question.

I didn't realise that 2 others had said it looked wrong. I had to look through 5 pages to even find the reply to my question, so I have obviously overlooked it.

I did not mean to offend you or challenge your knowledge by asking whether there was anything I should be looking (or asking) for about the wallet. I was just wondering whether there was some other photos or something I could get from the seller that might assist with authentication.

And the point about meeting her was that if it doesn't seem to be real, then I would not fork out the cash for it.

Sorry for my tone, but it seemed as if you were about to ignore a lot of good advice and depend on the seller to tell you the truth - never a good decision unless you know and trust the seller 100 percent.

Her pictures aren't her own so there's no way to know what she's selling.

I don't feel at all comfortable about this seller. SHe has very low feedback, no proven history of selling authentic items and out of her very few feedbacks, she has a neutral and a neg for having shipped the wrong items.

Also, she negged a seller for a dispute but seller had already refunded her money before she left negative feedback.

If for no other reason, she appears to be a careless seller (and buyer).

The serial number in the first listing is a random serial number and the last 4 numbers do not denote the style number.

Wait for Hyacinth or DemRam to comment on authenticity of that listing.
