I don't like the look of the first wallet, the ID window looks like it's lopsided and off-center. There are also one or two other details that don't look right.

Is there anything else specific I can look at? The seller said I can meet her at a mutually agreeable place to collect, so if I know what to look for, then I can either not accept it or whatever. Should a wallet have a creed and serial number?

More pictures are needed.

re post 247 - anything specific I should be asking for? she emailed me a pic of the creed and gave me serial number (M0867 F13105) but the pic of the creed is quite dark and hard to read... I might see if I can lighten it in photoshop and see if that helps? ok I just did that...

can you please let me know what other photos I should be asking for?

Hello! Can someone please authenticate this Coach bag I purchased off Ebay.
Item Name (if you know it): Not sure, sorry
Link (if available): None
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
The main reason I'm questioning is because there is a small circle in the top right corner of the creed and because there is no cell phone and other open small pocket on the inside. The rest of my bags don't have the small circle and do have the cell phone and accessory pockets. It is real leather and has the YKK zipper pulls.

The bag looks good. The circle on the creed means it is a bag that was originally at the FullPrice store, but was then sent to the outlet store to be sold at a discount. :D

Three posters here have already said that the wallet doesn't look right and we've been authenticating Coaches for years. What do you think you'll see that we haven't already seen? And why would you even agree to meet the seller? If something looks fake in a photo, it's NOT going to look any better close up. There's no way Coach is going to make and sell a wallet with an ID window that isn't even straight.

Just so you and everyone else here understands something - there are a LOT of mistakes fakes makers make that we don't mention in public, because a lot of the same crooks who make and sell those fakes also read these forums, and we're NOT about to tell them what mistakes they're making so they can correct them.

And no, most wallets don't have creeds and serial numbers, and even if they do, HAVING A CREED OR SERIAL NUMBER DOESN'T EVER PROVE THAT A "COACH" IS REAL.

It sounds like you're listening to a con artist who's going to promise anything you want to hear until she has your money in hand and then she'll disappear into the woodwork. No only would I NOT trust anyone who's already selling a fake to refund my money, but I sure wouldn't meet them anywhere in person with cash in my pocket.

Very well said, H!

Thank you. I'll post pictures after I receive the purse. I am so excited and thanks again ladies--I have learned so much from my short time of visiting this forum. Without you all I may have never agreed to purchase a purse outside of the Coach boutique, Coach outlet or a fine department store. I am still leary about Ebay but maybe one day :)
I got it today. It's exactly as represented in the photos the seller sent. I am a very happy girl :)

Cripes. Get your heckles down. I was just asking a question.

I didn't realise that 2 others had said it looked wrong. I had to look through 5 pages to even find the reply to my question, so I have obviously overlooked it.

I did not mean to offend you or challenge your knowledge by asking whether there was anything I should be looking (or asking) for about the wallet. I was just wondering whether there was some other photos or something I could get from the seller that might assist with authentication.

And the point about meeting her was that if it doesn't seem to be real, then I would not fork out the cash for it.

Hi there ladies,

Please assist in authenticating this coach bag.

Thanks so much!! ;)

There's no in knowing if it's authentic since the seller stole pictures from Coach's website. These are all stock pictures. You could ask if the seller will send you actual pictures of the bag.
