A WORD OF WARNING TO OUR MEMBERS

If some of you have also used Ebay's own Shoes & Purses forum get opinions on whether or not a bag is genuine, that option is now closed. In fact according to the latest Rules posted by "Griff" from Ebay, any mention of an auction number or title in any post there asking for authenticity opinions can get your post removed and the poster temporarily or permanently suspended.

but I strongly suggest anyone who posts or buys on Ebay visit the forum there too and read what's going on so that they understand how important it is now to get designer items authenticated BEFORE you buy. Read the pinned post from "Griff" and then the replies - assuming any are left by the time you read this, a number of posts have already been removed:

I'm glad I reserved comment on the authenticity of her wallet.

Thank you for pointing out the source of (at least some of) the many wallets that fmnl1213 sells.

kmlow, you might want to post clear and close up pictures of that wallet when you receive it.

I don't recommend uptowngirl37 as a seller.

There's no way to know what you'll get from her because every listing only shows one photo and that picture is a stolen stock photo.

Not only is it unethical to use copyrighted material belonging to someone else, but to not show pictures of the actual item that the seller has doesn't let the buyer know what they're bidding on.
