That's close - new IDs are often just previously reported fakes sellers or sellers with too many Negative Feedbacks using a new ID. It used to be common for sellers banned by Ebay (Not A Registered User) to have a whole collection of spare IDs ready for when they were banned, but Ebay doesn't ban people any more, even if it's proven that everything they've ever listed or sold is fake. The Powers-that-Be only want the money, nothing else matters.

As for the Known reputable sellers, there was a list here once until the same poster / seller who's currently causing a complete meltdown at Ebay's Shoes & Purses forum used it to advertise and shill her own ID and then went ballistic when told it wasn't allowed OR honest. The list was just one of the casualties of her very short residence here.

You can use the Search feature to look for seller's names here, ask about them in this forum, and check their Feedback history at http://toolhaus.org

Coach has probably made close to 100 different briefcases, and a lot of them are similar. After all, how many different ways can you make a briefcase? Looking a bit like another briefcase "but different" does not make it fake.

There's nothing wrong with that bag. Use it and enjoy itAf
