Get your money back. The seller should know better than to list that thing.

Being an eager newbie, I'd really like to know more...

#1. What do you mean by "stretch marked" leather?
#2. Why would anyone bother to fake a vintage bag?
#3. Is there a list of most-often faked bags/numbers? If so, do you have a link?

The creed did look "off" to me, that's when I went searching for pics. I didn't feel confident declaring it fake or not.

The link below is to Hyacinth's Fake Coach Serial Numbers list. The information starts on Post #355.

The counterfeiters have been making fakes of Coach bags for years and years and many of the leather fakes are difficult to tell.

The leather on that black bag H4B-0517 appears to be pulled and stretched and not smooth like it should be. That's always a red flag with the older Coach fakes.

The black one pictured is an easy call because it's so obviously FAKE with the stretched leather AND the fake number.

As to why they would fake a vintage bag? I suppose because they are criminals and they can make money by doing it.

Coach does still make some of their Classic bags and they carry them on their website. Some people still prefer the leather bags.

What about these two?

Denim patchwork: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-without-tags-Coach-Denim-Patchwork-HOBO_W0QQitemZ190369769288QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_CSA_WH_Handbags?hash=item2c52ec2748

And another patchwork with the same seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-without-tag...emQQptZUS_CSA_WH_Handbags?hash=item2c52ec2a0c

Seller: bella2181 ( 2399 ) 98.6% Positive feedback
Auction IDs: 190369769996 and 190369769288

No red flags, but both need more pictures including pictures of the creeds.

The first and last ones are fake. The 2nd and 3rd ones have already been removed.

So now I am freaking because I ran the model number online and all I see are knock offs?!?! Not a good sign! Is this a TRUE fake????

That's one of the reasons we DON'T recommend using Google as a source for any kind of authenticity information. If they ever develop a program that can distinguish between real and fake, I'll change that recommendation. Until then, please ask here for authentication. :D
