I looked at the photo and clearly, the center front seam is perfectly centered and matched. I'm not sure what you mean.

Just for the record, there are a couple of signature items that have one side of the bag where the pattern was severely unmatched. In fact, I subsequently saw them at giveaway prices at the outlet, probably because they looked so bad and fake.

My mother just purchased this bag on the 'bay which is hilarious in and of itself because she is a hippy momma and I can't believe she bought anything brand name.

Anyway, now she's worried that it might be fake even though she bought it so I was hoping you wonderful Coach ladies could help us out and tell us if you can spot whether it's a fake or not.

I don't see any problems with it, and it looks like it's in good condition too. Tell your mom to enjoy her "new" classic Coach!

Please help with this older bag, or brief, or whatever it would be classified as. This is for sale locally and seller used to sell on eBay but no longer does because of rising fees. I have verified that she had a perfect 100% rating with over 400 feedbacks, and a few of them seem to be purses. Unfortunately there is little info at this point and only 1 photo. I have requested more photos and seller told me to just come by her house and take a look firsthand. I will be doing so this afternoon but I would like to know from the experts whether or not Coach ever made a bag in this style, as it is older and I do not reecognize it. Thank you in advance...
