Curiosity killed e.Kat!
Calling on DemRam and all other vintage experts! I would love your feedback!
Here she is. The measurements are 10.5" (L) x 7" (H) x 3" (W). The color came out pretty true in the photos. I would call it navy. The stitching is all intact and beautiful, and the leather is in great condition. The front and rear of the purse are identical with the same striped lining. There are 4 pointed feet and a seam on the bottom. There is one large interior pocket. I think it's a pretty cute little handbag!
I think that I may also contact the Bonnie Cashin Foundation and see what they think as well. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Good for you! Your pictures are so much better than the auction photos. You got it for a great price too. How did the seller miss seeing the Coach metal tag?
I've dealt with the Bonnie Cashin Foundation at least 4 times. They charge a $20 fee for authentication but I think it's worth it - for your own curiousity - and if you ever intend to sell. They take a while to reply because I think they have so much information to go through...but I've always received a very helpful response.
BeenBurned's picture proves that the black metal tag was used during Cashin's time at Coach.
Good luck and let us know what they say.
