Authenticate this COACH

I found this dustbag at a thrift store for 45 cents. It's made out of what feels like muslin, not flannel (I could have sworn I read that some of these bags were not flannel). It looked good to me, and wanted to know if this is a real Coach dustbag. I thought this would be perfect for a small crossbody I have that needs a bag.

It's fine. It looks exactly like my older dust bags. It's not flannel. It's a cotton-like material, not sure if it's 100% cotton, but definitely not flannel.

It looks fine. A dust bag isn't shown or mentioned so it probably doesn't come with one, but you can ask to make sure.

It looks good but the problem with Craigslist is that sellers often "borrow" pictures from other sources so what you see may not be what you'll get.

If the picture is the actual item and you check it over before paying, you should be fine.

The Carly from alwaysauthenticzone (and corvaircraig) is NOT authentic: fake hangtag, wrong lining, wrong font on creed, slanted stitching on bag.

This is a very scary seller. Now that I look at all of her items, I don't think that any of her Coach items are real. Someone who knows Juicy should look at the JC items. These are scary fakes because they're not always apparent at first glance.

Please post if you find more IDs. I'll update my report. I've done some searching and unless the m.o. has changed, there are just 3 IDs so far.

No problem. Ugh - I'm beginning to wonder about ALL of this seller's Coach items, even the ones that seem authentic at first glance. When I look closely at the pictures, I find some details that look off.

I notice that all of the seller's bags are listed as used or pre-owned. I'm beginning to think this may be a ruse so that he/she doesn't have to show things like tags that would give the bags away as fake and also to explain away flaws. It might also be a way to build up trust in buyers who may think that because the item has been used by the seller, it can't possibly be fake.

I'd love to know where this seller is getting his/her merchandise.

That's a genuine Duffle Sac keyfob from 1995 or thereabouts - one of a group of four in different styles. The box is also genuine and was first made for the 1995 holiday season.

It's an authentic "Watermelon Tote" from the mid to late 1970's. It has the Coach creed but no serial number which is perfectly fine for that time period.
