Thanks it.girl. I'll post a picture of the Creed when I get it. Being new to Coach, I hadn't seen one of these before. Do you know of any pics of one being worn/carried?

Not every style number is going to come up on Google - in fact, Google makes no distinction between fakes and fake numbers and real numbers. Just because a style number shows up on Google doesn't mean the bag or the number is genuine. Please don't EVER depend on Google when it comes to authenticity questions!

As for the bag, I'd also like to see more photos especially of the creed patch but I don't see anything that's pointing to fake.

The same seller I mentioned immediatly above has another Coach bag ending at exactly the same time but even less detail in the auction.

Seen anything like it?

Below is the email from seller when I asked for more pics/creed details

"Sure!!! The bag is at work, and I wasn't planning on going in on sunday BUT if I do I will upload the photo (sunday), failing that it will be first thing monday morn. In the meantime I can provide you with the number as I was asked a similar question previously.......my reply to them as follows:
"The original owner confirms that it is I have no reason to doubt her.The COACH logo is stamped into the leather tag that hangs off the shoulder strap.
Inside the bag is another leather label stamped COACH with a blurb about the bag handicraft and a number No L35-4274
There is another stamped COACH logo on the outside that says COACH leatherware est.1941
I hope this helps :-)"

That's an older bag (from 2003) so there probably aren't too many listed right now.

Again, although I can't be certain of authenticity without additional pix and since I don't have a stock photo of that style number to compare, I don't seen any obvious problems and the style seems to fit with other style numbers in the same vicinity of 4274.

The signature can vary depending on the pattern placement and location when they're cutting the fabric during manufacture.

Compare this listing. In one of the pictures, the "Coach" name is right-side-up on the left side. In another picture, it's sideways in the center and in another picture, you can see that in the lower right corner, it's upside-down.
