Yes, it's authentic. TJ Maxx doesn't sell fakes. The only time you might see a fake is if a dishonest customer does a "buy and switch."

Thank you for your quick response! I didn't even look at the previous threads. I will find another seller I guess. Can I ask here or should I ask in the coach forum about questions I have, such as:
-How can I find out if this is a bag that might be carried at an outlet store and for what price?
-How do I know what a good price is? This bag has prices all over the board from $149 to $299+
-How can I find out what year this purse came out?
-What do you look for to know if it's authentic?
-Are there coach sellers on ebay that are recommended that you can be sure are selling authentic purses?

I need help seeing if the bag I bought is real. I purchased it at TJ Maxx for $89.79, it was orginally $174 or $198.

Sorry for butting in, but can someone PLEASE tell me what the "X" on the creed means? I know the "O"/bullseye means it was at the outlet. I have a small Soho flap that I bought at Marshall's that has the "X," just wondering what it means.

The "X" indicates that the bag was sold to off-price discounters (Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Filene's Basement, etc.) and those items aren't returnable or exchangeable at a Coach store.
