:DPlease help with style#0264 received as a gift. If you can provide the name or a bit of history would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

It appears to be an authentic "Carousel Bag" which is actually style number 9942.

Your bag was made in the late 1980's-1993 so it doesn't have that style number. The numbers on your bag are a unique "serial number".

Wait for other opinions but it looks right to me. What a cute little bag!

I agree, it looks fine.

Jelita - Look carefully at your mom's Sabrina and compare the stitching on the handles to the stitching on mmaricrys' Sabrina. Compare your creed to the picture of the creed from mmaricrys' Sabrina.

The pictures in the original post are here:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-492978-103.html#post12310722

The C's on the side are really off. The color of the stitching on the handles isn't right. The font and look of the creed is wrong. The stitching around the corners of the creed is uneven. I'm also not liking the way the brass rivets are bulging out the ends of the handles.

mmaricrys - Can you post closeup pictures of the inside of the price tag, the logo on the front of the bag, the front of the hangtags, and the bottom of the bag and the strap?

Can you also post a link to the seller? I see one Canadian seller in completed auctions on ebay who has definitely sold a fake Op Art Sabrina, and I want to know if it's the same seller. The picture of the creed in this seller's auction looks exactly like your creed, down to the stitching.

Hi, starrymaz-thank you for your input. You have questioned the exact same peculiarities as I did when I opened the box-the overdone stitching on the handles, upside down Cs by the zipper, offset Cs on the side stitch, the reattached price tag, hang tags on the left side of the bag, glue residue on on the brass loops, and the zipper tags also look cheap. The leather doesn't look as dark and shiny as I recall seeing in the store-I thought I remembered it being so dark and rich it almost looked like a patent leather-like in jelita's photos. I will post more pics this evening.

He is already harassing me for a feedback. I will leave one alright...

What do you know...I was previewing this post and before I hit Submit Reply I clicked the seller link to make sure it would work and he has already unregistered. Tell me I can still submit a claim through Paypal????

A better photo of the price tag would be nice but it's not necessary. I don't see any problems.

Phew............ Thanks!

Figured out that although the bag costs more than similar models on ebay, I haven't seen anyone carrying a pink coach bag where I live, so I just wanted to get something special.

I have seen the same style number M2K-6091 on baby blue versions also. Is it necessary that the same model in different colours have different front style numbers?

Hi ladies and gents,
I'm not really looking for authentication, but I'd really like to hear what y'all may know about this bag. I'm posting here because I think this is probably the best thread for it, but feel free to move it.

I just bought this bag for my wife from the COACH shop on Bay St. in Nassau.

Item: Lexi Op Art Satin Satchel
Code: CO14077BBRMA
Store: COACH - Nassau, Bahamas

It's a beautiful and elegant chocolate bag with leather strap. I also bought a wallet to go with it.

Item: Madison CC Frm Frn PR
Code: CO41983B4/BR
Store: COACH - Nassau, Bahamas

I can find info on the wallet, but I can't seem to find any information anywhere online about the purse. Is it too new, or just not around any more?
I'm just curious about it at this point. I know I didn't get a deal, since I bought it from a retail location, but what the heck...it's beautiful anyway.

I'm sorry there's no photo to go with this post at the moment. We're still on vacation and in a hotel, but I'll add photos when I get home, if you'd like.

Thanks for your help.

You want to file SNAD-- significantly not as described.

This seller is interesting. While looking at her items a while ago, I found that she has several similar IDs, some of which "like" her other items!! (The ID you bought from is/was natalystreasures.) All are from Quebec.

This one used to be natalystreasures1 but recently changed her name: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=natalystreasures1&ftab=AllFeedback

Natalystreasures2: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=natalystreasures2&ftab=AllFeedback

Natalystreasures3: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=natalystreasures3&ftab=AllFeedback

natalystreasures4: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=natalystreasures4&ftab=AllFeedback

natalystreasures6: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=natalystreasures6&ftab=AllFeedback

natalystreasures8: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=natalystreasures8&ftab=AllFeedback

You might want to keep an eye on these other IDs to see if they start selling the same fakes.

Thanks for your help.

Often the Resort stores get items the regular US stores don't. The only place I've found that bag is on the Japan site and they also usually get many styles before the US stores. The style number is very recent so you seem to have found one that the rest of us don't have access to yet. Here's the webpage from my Search of the Japan site, click on the photo if the Javascript box isn't open:
http://japan.coach.com/online/handb...er=yes&searchKeyword=14077&cacheKeyword=14077

Sorry, that's all I can find, and I don't read Japanese - it's a gorgeous bag though. :smile1:

Maybe someone else is familiar with it.

Excellent detective work as usual, BB! I suspected it was that seller but I didn't know she had so many IDs. I'll look to see if she relists the other fakes under the other IDs. There was a fake Parker Op Art Hippie and a fake Optic Carly as well.

mmaricrys - See the link BeenBurned gave on how to file a SNAD claim in Paypal so you can get your money back.
