The drilldown no longer exists because of Coach's new website, and even if the drilldown did still exist, not all numbers were represented.

Secondly, a number says nothing about a bag. A fake bag could have a legitimate serial number. The only way to tell is to please post some pics of your bag!

From your description, it doesn't sound familiar, though Coach did make some "briefcase sized" clutch bags. Take a look at this ebay completed auction number: 250403871401 That's the type of clutch I mean.

Many Coach collectors do like the New York City items because they were made in the original factory in the city.

I have a few photos of some of the older vintage bags, but as I recall, they all have some sort of handle or strap.

When you get some pictures you can post them here and maybe someone can identify the name of it for you. Coach did have a "name" for just about every bag they made.

the auction only has a stock photo so you can't really judge. but definitely put up photos once it arrives. if it is not authentic when you get it the girls in the ebay forum are great at helping to file snad reports and mail fraud reports.

now a few days ago i googled the name of the bag and this seller on ioffer came up with the same 3 items (for like $25) and this ebay item looks like the same pic can any1 tell if there is even a chance these are real

Wait, you found this SAME seller on iOffer? If so, I'd stay away. The bag is real in these pics, but it could be fake pictures and the seller as one NEG feedback for a supposedly fake LV.
