No Serial #, so I'm a bit unsure of this, plus the dogleash clasps look odd too.
Opinions?
The strap reminds me of the ones they used on the double flap bags that remind me of the bridgit, but the dog leash connectors are odd, and the connection looks legit, but wow, strange way to hook it on to it right?Hi,
The bag looks authentic to me - though I've never seen one like it before. There was a very short period of time in (I think) the mid 1970's that Coach used the creed without the numbers. I believe it was right before they started using the "glued on" numbers.
I am totally confused by that strap though. I'm not sure if it's the correct strap for that bag or not.If it is, it's one of the oddest ones I've ever seen on a vintage Coach briefcase/bag. The zipper pull and the strap look to me like a different color than the bag. I'm wondering if the strap and the zipper pull are replacements?
I'm NO help at all.

Strap could have been from another bag I suppose, as the strap is super long for the bag (should it have been a stumpy small piece of the leather attached to the pull ring?) unless SOMEHOW they patina'ed quicker than the rest of it.
Yes, it's authentic and very limited addition!
One like this? This is as close as I can come to the zipper pull.
I'm trying to find a picture of that skinny "double strap". I know I have it somewhere on my computer but I can't locate it.

It actually may have been used on this bag in my picture but I can't remember.
