Sorry but it's fake. Your sister should take it back for a refund. It doesn't matter how cheap she got it, it was their responsibility to verify authenticity before they accepted it and put it out for sale.
There's a thread on here about what to look for, but the biggest thing I saw was that it had a signature lining. From what I understand, if the exterior is signature, the lining is always plain.
The pattern is uncentered and misaligned, the straps are not the correct type, the serial number doesn't match the style, the lining is wrong....the list goes on. (Actually, there is nothing right about the bag.) The best way to keep from getting another fake is to read the posts here and on other handbag websites, learn the details to look for in identifying Coach items and ask about any item before buying.
Not always. There are some exceptions to the signature outside/no signature inside rule, but this isn't one of them.

Can someone please authenticate this bag for me?, the seller has put some pictures up but no picture of the zipperhead, do you think from all pictures that are currently available would be enough to say that's authentic? as the leather hangtag looks OK to me.

That's authentic. And a great example of one of the exceptions to the signature "rule."

This is the medium size. The Carly came in the medium (style #10619) and large (style #10620). I don't see any red flags, but because signature Carlys are so highly faked, I would ask the seller for a clearer, closeup picture of the creed to be absolutely sure. You can ask the seller to use the macro setting on her camera to get a clearer shot. BTW, the seller calls it an "Optical Signature" Carly - it's not an Optical Sig Carly, it's the regular Signature Carly.
