That's because they're mostly older bags. You should familiarize yourself with all kinds of Coach, not just current styles, check Ebay for listings for "Coach vintage".

BUT regardless of whether this one's real, there's no way I'd ever buy from that seller - she's well-known for "mixing" - selling fakes mixed in with real bags. She makes no effort at all to authenticate her bags and ignores warnings that she's selling a fake.

Stay away from listings with that New York skyline in the background.

Hockeymom, serial numbers aren't unique so many bags that come out of the same factory in the same month and year will all have the same serial number.

Thanks for clarifying. From the heading on the post "ebay item feels fake - leather feels like plastic" it sounded like she'd just bought and received it, not that she was selling it. If it felt fake she shouldn't have listed it.

They both seem ok. The first one looks like a mini-bag or pouch that may have two small rings on the back that a long thin strap would have been attached to, for carrying from the shoulder. I don't see any strap in the picture so if the long shoulder strap has gone missing it doesn't have any strap at all. You can buy a replacement strap if you need one but you might want to ask about that if you're thinking of bidding.
