Hello all,

I'm a guy in desperate need of help. I have no clue when it comes to purses and my girlfriend is absolutely crazy for Coach. I want to get her a nice vintage Coach purse and have found one that looks quite nice but is rather inexpensive.

I want to make sure it's authentic as I have no experience with the seller:

http://www.retrodesignerdeals.com/catalog/item/2325477/6717695.htm

Also, for a vintage purse (if it is indeed authentic) it seems quite inexpensive considering that a brand new purse can be hundreds of dollars. She owns several purses the least of which was about $200 from the local Coach store.

Please help this lost man!!!

I have NO idea about the seller.

The "Abby Zip" is style number 9017 and the bag looks like an "Abby Zip" though there are not enough pictures for me.

The J7C means that the bag was made in 1997.

It's a very, very small bag so be aware of that. About 7 x 6.

There are many of them on ebay so be sure what you are paying for.

Cuttle, you may want to check the outlets or Bonanzle.com (or ebay) to see if anything is in your price range. A lot of people get good deals at Coach outlets, so a good idea would be to check out your local outlet if there is one nearby - but they don't have actual vintage, but sometimes the classic vintage-looking styles. If the outlet isn't nearby, I have found Bonanzle that to be a more reliable source for bags (though also not as many vintage items). You can usually make a best offer, and there are more recent items at good prices. So, if you and her don't have your heart set on vintage, you may want to check those options. If you do ebay or Bonanzle, be sure to authenticate here first! Good luck! I'm sure she will love whatever you chose because of the thought of going out and getting her Coach because you know she loves it!

Wow! Thanks DemRam and cz22 :D I checked out Bonanzle and they have a much better collection of purses. To be honest, I'm not sure if I trust E-bay all that much for this kind of thing but I may look around.

If I find one I think she would really like I will certainly post here for your opinions to its authenticity before I buy :D I thank you again for your help!
