So if I have to file a complaint, would that be selling fraudulent goods? I don't want to sound like an idiot if I go back and she doesn't want to give me back my money. If she says no, I will tell her that I'll be filing a police report. :P

I'm annoyed with myself for even thinking it was real and totally annoyed that she LIED to me. Grr. Thieves are everywhere--even in nice subdivisions!

Also looks good to me - not all Coach is made in China. If you're still weary, post pics of the item YOU received in case of a bait-and-switch.

Fraudulent goods and trade mark infringement I would think. She should know that it's illegal to sell knock-offs.

The letter at the beginning of the serial number indicates the month it was made:
A=Jan.
B=Feb.
C=Mar.
and so on. Coach skips over the letter I.
M at the beginning would indicate it was made in Dec.
The letter or numbers after the year is the plant code. Then the numbers after the dash is the style number.

For example, my patent leather Zoe, style #12735 has this number on the creed:
E0873-12735
Reading the first part of the number: E=May, 08=2008, 73=plant code, 12735=style number. So my bag was made in May 2008.

This particular wristlet was made for the outlets. Small items such as wristlets will not always have creeds inside. And yes, Coach does make some accessories in other countries besides China now. I've seen them made in India and Vietnam, as well. The one in the auction looks ok to me.

ahhh i see thank you so much starry:D you know so much about coach, i wish i had half your knowledge on coach
