I saw this one too, same model, but noticed that the way the creed was embossed is different from the one above. This one is embossed outward, the other one inward. Is there a specific way the creed is embossed?

It looks fine. Both creeds are embossed the same way. It's probably the lighting in the pictures that makes them appear different (they don't look different to me), but the creeds are embossed the same way. :yes:

hi starrymaz, thanks so much for the reply. i was checking through some of the seller's other items, i found some which have the word coach in the hardware. i remember reading a guide sometime back that Coach does not do this and its a way of identifying a fake. does this hold true for all, or are there exceptions to this?

Coach does stamp the hardware on certain styles. You need to know which styles do and which styles don't. The auctions you posted are all fine. This seller sells authentic Coach.

This is a reminder that you shouldn't rely on any "guides to authenticating Coach" that you might find online because a lot of those guides have wrong information or are out-of-date. The same goes for "rules" - as we've seen there are exceptions to nearly every "rule." When in doubt, ask here first. :yes:

We need better photos as well as bigger ones - have her stuff the bag so it stands up and we can see the C pattern clearly. A good close-up of the creed would also help.

The C patytern doesnt look quite right but I can't see the parts I need to see.

That second photo especially looks like the ones I've seen on fakes-selling sites. Often they use those collage-style pics of a genuine Coach but then send a third-rate piece of junk instead.
