Sometimes the creed does list the specific type of leather and sometimes it just says leather.

The bag is fake. Some of the reasons it is fake have already been mentioned here. Please advise your friend NOT to sell this, as selling counterfeits is against the law.
Someone also tried to sell the same exact fake on Ebay, along with one in another color - was that your friend? I think someone here asked for authentication on the same bag, and although the seller's (xiongk04) listings have been removed, that first photo looks just like the one I remember from that auction. Starrymaz spotted the fakes too:

In fact, the same seller JUST RE-LISTED A FAKE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PULLED ONCE BY EBAY. If this is your friend, she's about to get herself into VERY deep shyte with Ebay. Here are the photos from her newest listing:
