I don't believe so. They have the No on the creed, but pretty sure the N doesn't mean anything about Nordstroms. I could be wrong because sometimes the department stores have limited edition bags that the stores doesn't have. I could be wrong but I have never heard of this :)

It could be from Nordstrom Rack. Some discount department store like Nordstrom Rack, mark the creeds to prevent full-price retail returns. I know Nordstrom Rack sometimes punches a hole in the creed and writes numbers on the inside pocket with marker. Stores like TJ Maxx or Marshall's will stamp the creed with an X.

Are the ones marked with an X or marked in some other way flawed? I thought I heard one time that the ones with those marks didn't pass the 'perfect' test at Coach and that is why you can buy them cheeper at places like TJ Maxx. I have one from there with the X and for the life of me, I can't find a single thing wrong with it. I'm certainly satisfied even if there is a supposed flaw. :okay:

Does anyone know how old this Coach purse is or what style it is?
I purchased it at an Estate sale for $5.00 and just love it. It had mold in the creases and needed a good cleaning. I cleaned and conditioned it and I just love the beauty of the old leather. I couldn't get a good picture of the label but it is in all caps, says "Made in the United States" and No 364-5942. It is worn down and I can barely read it.
Any information will be appreciated!

Can i get coach to ship me the missing tag too? i got one from ebay recently and the tag is missing. Would love to complete the bag with the tag. Please advice how to go abt doing it. Thansk! :)

It's one of the Speedy-style satchels from at least 20 years ago, I don't know the name of the style but it's definitely Vintage Coach in every sense of the word. It looks great too, you did a fantastic job cleaning and restoring it! :tup:
