Hyacinth....did you notice the "E" on the word "ENDURING" on the creed? You can see it when you look at the enlarged pictures. It looks quite odd.

Coaches made after the late 1980s and before 1994 all had serial numbers made up of four numbers, a dash and then three numbers. I think the first Madisons were made in 1993, I have a Royalton Bag with a 4-plus-three serial number.

It's just the way the light is hiting the patch. It looks like an E to me, the bottom half of the vertical line is just a bit overlit. Change the angle of your screen a bit and it's obviously an E.

VERY fake - that fabric was never used in any kind of checkbook wallet, and there are other things wrong with it too - for one, the C pattern isn't even centered.

OMGosh....you are absolutely right!! I guess that's why they pay ya the big bucks, right! That is a darn cute bag!
It looks fine. I think it's pretty, though I consider the color/fabric more of a spring/summer color. But if you like it, go for it!
