I purchased this bag several years ago on Ebay, and it's been one of my very favorites!! I recently read somewhere, however, that on the Coach Creed, if the line below the "o" in "No" is down low, it's a good indication that the bag is not authentic. That's how the line is on the creed in my bag, however, I've seen a few of these bags, and the creed is exactly the same.

With the exception of the low “underline”, everything else on this bag seems spot on in terms of authenticity, but at the time I purchased this, I knew nothing about fakes. If someone could view my pix, and let me know their thoughts on authenticity, I'd appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Almost all of those "RULES" people seem to be so eager to throw around are meaningless and should be ignored. I've said this here MANY times - Coach changes their designs, stampings, creed layouts, etc, constantly and what's true for the bags made at one plant during one month have NO relevance to a bag made someplace else and someTIME else.

Ignore the misinformation and enjoy the bag, it's genuine. And please read the posts on page 18 in the Answers to Authenticity Questions before you start putting any credence in other peoples' "rules"

Thank you very much! I do love this bag! I'm off to read the thread you linked. Thanks again for your help with this....even though I would have still loved and used this bag, I'm just happy to know I didn't get duped! :p

Hello Hyacinth,

What do you think about this bag? Seller has quite a lot of (-) FB though :/

I thought it looks ok, but the hangtag looks a bit "funny" to me, but I'm not an expert :) What do you think? Is it authentic?

Your help is greatly appreciated! TIA!!

I'm not Hyacinth, but it looks fine to me. The hangtag looks ok too. As you said, the seller does have a lot of negative feedback for items not as described and poor communication.

i know the c's dont look exactly lines up, but i know ive seen bags in teh boutique a tid bit off before, or could it posisbly be the flash of the camera against the white thread?

Fake. The creed is wrong is the wrong color, the stamping is uneven, the left side of the border is crooked, the stitching is the wrong color, and the ultimate thing: the word "FROM" is misspelled as "FRON"!

Hi Starrymaz,

Thanks for your help. Yes, I've noticed that the seller has a few neg. FB regarding authenticity. Maybe that's why the hangtag looks funny to me :p

So is it safe to bid, you think? Thanks! :graucho:

You're welcome! With that many negatives, though, it would probably be best to look for another seller. I'd be concerned about receiving an item that has damage that's not disclosed.
