A couple of differences I noticed between the black and brown totes are the straps on the brown tote seem "thicker" than those on the black tote. Also, the lining in the brown tote seems "heavier" than that in the black tote.

Is it possible for these types of differences to exist on the same style bag, and both bags be authentic??

Don't worry, they're both real and both gorgeous! Yes, it's possible for there to be small differences on the same style bag. From the creed, I see that these two bags were made in different months and in different factories, so it's very possible for there to be slight differences in some of the details. They are also two different colored bags and sometimes details may vary among bags of the same style but different colors.

I missed the bidding on both of them so I was hoping they were newer styles and I might ever find them on ebay again.

You could ask the seller where/when she bought them, and if she knows what the style numbers are.It's worth a try!
