I honestly think some people get into a bidding war...OR...A hubby is purchasing it for a gift and has no idea WHEN to stop bidding...And that they tend to get tunnel vission and forget that you can locate it elsewhere as well...:rolleyes: But that's just PLAIN crazy!:nogood:

:tup: Thanks for the tip...I am off to check out # 40214...I love the latch and the leather around the twist latch...;) Off to go see what I can find...

You know what...I have LOOKED at that style previously...In the whiskey color...I even had a friend "almost" pick me up one at an Outlet store...But they were only in black...You may yet cause me to get one after all...I was just afraid it would be to small...Where as the other one is 11 inches the top handle is only 8 inches... Do you own the #40214 style? I am going to have to think on this one...I also like the larger style that came out this year I believe...

I have the 40214 style. It is a smaller bag, big enough for a wallet, cell phone, and a few small other things, but not nearly as huge as the shoulder bag. I like the smallness of it for going out at night or out to a restaurant. I have tobacco but I would really prefer black or dark brown instead of the color I have. It is a really pretty bag though.

Hi joy2shop and guancia, thanks so much for your responses on the logo centering. :)

jkm, for the drill-down make sure you replace the last part of the address (the numbers before the _d1) with the serial number (the part after the dash on the creed tag). For example see the attached picture that shows creed with 80793-10816, you would type in the numbers 10816 to get you this drill-down link and picture:

It looks alright to me.

And about the tissue... that is how JAX sends the bags to Coach stores, with tissue all over, and the bag itself is actually wrapped in tissue. Before the Coach employees give it to you, they remove most of the wrapping/foam.
