Hi! First post ever but I've been lurking here for what seems like forever. I'm so excited, it's probably the coffee, but here goes...

Can someone look this over for me and offer their expert opinion. I've been reading and trying to figure out how to determine authenticity but I'm in no way confident in my abilities to judge the fakes from the good fakes, heck, even the obvious ones.

Thank you and hopefully, this won't be my last post.

I checked the style number from the drilldown:

The drilldown picture shows brown leather accents, but the eBay one is black. Not sure if it came in those colors, but the Cs look good on it.

VERY bad fakes - even the styles are fake, and the seller is lying like a rug. Start a Paypal dispute immediately.

Thank you for letting me know your opinions on the two bags. I did pay through PayPal and I sent a no more nonsense e-mail to the seller, and I will continue on to start a dispute. I did my research a little too late but at least there is still hope.
Also I wanted to know if I need an official opinion on the authenticity of these bags what should I do? As I stated before I live in Germany so I can't go to a Coach store and verify that way. How would I go about this? Sorry if this question is on the wrong thread. Thanks for all your help ahead of time!!

In your communication with Paypal, tell them the full serial numbers of each bag and describe the lining. You may want to include the drilldown link for the REAL style # 1417:

I'm not sure if this bag is authentic or not, so I thought I should ask on here. I really like it and hope it is.

It looks authentic, but Id wait for someone elses opinion.
I checked the drilldown picture and it shows the bottom with leather like the strap, not suede as the pictures show. Also she only has one picture, thats kind of a no no in my book....not sure if that suede thing means anything though. :hrmm:
