Morning all,
Could you tell me if Chelsea was ever made in a purple/pink leather combo? It's a beautiful flap satchel in purple with two pink straps. There is one in the window of a consignement store here where I'm vacationing. If not Chelsea, another model? Also (sorry I can't post pix) what should I look for? I'm from the LV forum, but clueless with Coach I haven't bought at the store or outlet. Thanks!!

Hey Ladies, any experts on the Signature Gallery Tote #6234 (from ~early Spring 2006)?

- Seller says she got it as a gift, but knows that it was purchased from Coach Factory; used 3 or 4 times.

- Seller's feedback is not <100% because of one recent negative feedback. Otherwise, I've noticed he/she has been selling a few Coach bags on Ebay lately.

I'm not liking that Coach zipper.. :confused1:

And the seller has other Coach items up for sale that have just horrid pictures which makes me suspect that she/he has something to hide.

Ends in 15 minutes, don't know if you'll get a second opinion, but I'd pass... I'm not an expert on vintage / older style Coach though...sorry.

Technically it's Classic rather than vintage, and everything checks out but I'd still like to be able to read the creed, and the serial number is for a bag that I'm totally unfamiliar with. Leaning strongly toward genuine though.

Thyat's the standard Sonoma zipper, BTW. Don't try to make Sonomas or Sheridans fit any standard Coach rules, because they never will.

Thanks, Temo - everything looks genuine, but I have to say that I think they stamped the wrong style number on it. It's actually a Flap Bag style 4903 rather than a School Bag 4902 - see GigiTrading's Sonoma Guide to figure out the numbers.

But I have three or four Flap Bags in both regular grain leather and nubuc and if that isn't a Flap bag, I'll eat it.

Whoever was working the little press that stamped the serial number the day that one was made wasn't paying attention. ;)

If you didn't bid on it and still want a similar bag, you can do an Advanced Seach - check titles and descriptions - for Sonoma Flap or Coach 4903, but be careful, anything with a serial number of NT-4903 is counterfeit. If you like a more sueded look, try to find style # 4935 in nubuc. There was a smaller version made too but I don't recall the numbers, they're in Gigi's Guide if you need them.
