Wallets are difficult to authenticate. Usually the type of box it is offered in and the seller is the best way to judge. Sometimes you can't tell by pictures alone whether they are leather or plastic.

Personally, I don't like the look of the C's on this particular wallet and I don't know if Coach uses cardboard boxes like that.

Accordingly, I would probably stick with recommended sellers for buying wallets.

I'm not sure why the white Coach factory tag would make you uneasy. The item is new with tags, so it has the tag on it. The bag is authentic. It was purchased at a factory store. The creed has a bullseye and this bag was once at a retail store. When transfers from full price stores come into a outlet, they are stamped by hand with a bullseye. That is why the depth of the stamp varies.

Hi all! I'm new here, and pretty new to the world of designer handbags. I found what looks to be a Coach bag for $25 at the local Goodwill. I *think* it is real, but I'm sure you all can tell me for sure. It does have "No. A6D-9951" stamped/embossed (not sure of the correct term) inside, and it certainly looks like this bag. If it isn't, no big deal, 'cause it is still a great bag, and it was only $25, but I'd love to know for sure. Let me know if you need more pics. Thanks!

Hi Lodguinny, most of them preorder it during the preferred customer event for 25% off retail if their sales associate allow it. Also you can generally order items directly from Coach even if they haven't hit the boutiques yet, if they are in the Coach warehouse inventory in Jacksonville. Hope that helps! :yes:

I purchased this purse on eBay, item number 230148277608. It says it was made in China and does not have the creed number inside of it. Can you tell by the pictures if it's real? The UPC code looks fuzzy.Thank you.

You can pre-order anything before it is officially released into stores as long as it is in Coach's distribution center. Usually items are available about a month before the release date. You can either call Coach's customer service or your local store. This is the best bet. It just stinks that people pre-order and sell it for more than retail to people who don't know how to get it before the release.
