i have another quick question, are patchworks different, or all patches similar? for example, would the c's all be in the exact same spot on a patch or can they vary? and if they have the zebra stripe, are the the exact same in placing? thanks

No, the C's and the prints won't be exactly the same on every bag, but the patches will always be in exactly the same place.

Oh man, I wish I'd found you guys earlier!! lol

Okay, can anyone help me out with the authenticity of these?

I recently bought these on ebay, but haven't received any of them yet. Please tell me the optic is authentic because I do love it so! lol I also got the matching wristlet, which is pictured.

Thanks so much!

KenNina

I have a really bad feeling about the seller of the black bag. She has a total of exactly ONE feedback, which was for an auction that ended Friday June 1st (the photo seems to be stolen and doesn't match the description at all) and the winning bidder left positive FB on June FOURTH??? How could they receive an item today that they couldn't have paid for before 6PM on Friday? And how are they buying so-called Coach keychains for 99 cents?

Everywhere I look there are connections between this seller and other questionable sellers. The buyer of the fake keychain has some VERY shady feedback and it's for buying obviously fake Coach keychains listed as "yokool" to fool the search filters and make it easier for a group of crooks (or one crook usinng different IDs) to shill bid each other's auctions.

Look at the items and the prices - two of the seller IDs are already NARU'd, the rest are fake Coach keychains and one-cent pet collars!

Also the auction for the black bag looks VERY familiar. I reported half a dozen fakes to Ebay earlier today - the seller was using a different name but the items were the same INCLUDING the odd listing for a "woman dress". No way can that be a coincidence.

This seller is totally untrustworthy and probably part of a ring of scammers and fakes sellers. If you didn't already pay, DON'T !!!!

This was also in the Feedback of one of the sellers involved with the buyer of your seller's keychain, "THIS IS A FAKE EBAY ACCOUNT!!! SELLER IS TRYING TO SCAM YOUR PAYPAL INFO!!!"
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=pohdex&ftab=AllFeedback

Watch out for any attempt to steal personal or log-in info!

More things I've noticed - the seller only takes credit cards - I wouldn't trust them with MY credit card info!

And the seller has another black bag, same picture - scroll down the auction page and look at the fine collection of fakes you can buy from them

KenNina, why would you buy from a new seller with almost no feedback and only one photo?

The other "woman dress" auctions - does anyone see a pattern?

The first one is the one I reported to Ebay earlier today.

(Sorry for another post, I couldn't edit so I had to add another one)

All these bidder IDs are connected, as well as listings for "yokool keychain", "Woman Dress" and "Woman jean"

good job, but bad news

It's definitely fake

the lining inside the pocket is wrong as is the lining underneath the open cc slot

the tag is realllly bad too

I'm so sorry to give you bad news

contact the seller, be very nice, and ask for a return.

if they give you grief, open a paypal dispute (I hope you paid with paypal)

this will be okay, you just need to do a bit of work. pm me if you have any questions or need more help with paypal

You are so awesome...I'm disappointed but glad to know. I did pay with Paypal but will try to contact the seller first. I don't mind if I'm out a little bit in shipping charges. Do I ship it back first (with signature) and then have her refund my $ or have her send me money first and then ship?

Thanks so much Hyacinth! I'm new to buying designer bags online, so I had no clue about what to look for (or what to look out for!)

I reported my suspicions to ebay's fraud department the day after the auction ended, and they said they were investigating it and would take appropriate action. I also notified my credit card provider the same day. I hope I've done enough to protect myself!

I haven't received the purse yet, and don't know if I will, so I don't know if I can do anything else until I either get it or don't get it after a significant amount of time.

I'd also like to report those connected sellers. Is it possible to file a complaint against them if you haven't done business with them? Also, will you get in trouble if you warn other bidders?

Thanks so much you guys! You're lifesavers!

It seems like you've begun taking the best steps to deal with the situation. Your credit card company should refund your money. Be sure to file a claim - they will tell you how many days you need to wait to confirm not receiving your item. Unfortunately this has happened to me before. Sorry this happened to you...

if she tells you to send it back, insure it and get delivery confirmation and send it back, then she'll refund your money

if she gives you any grief, open a paypal dispute....

Don't contact other bidders, it's considered Auction Interference and can get you suspended from Ebay.

I've posted the same list of names at another forum and there's a good chance some of the posters there will be able to se a pattern that can be reported to Ebay's Fraud department. The fact that three sellers who have totally different locations are using the same "blank" auction listing is definitely suspicious. "Woman dress" with no description or photos? Maybe it's a sort of password among this particular group of fakes sellers.

BTW, the small photos in her listing of the identical bag to yours takes you to a site that is a known seller of counterfeits and has been reported to Ebay Fraud many times. You CAN report that auction for having illegal links leading outside of Ebay and for a counterfeit handbag listing if you like. AND the links are using a fake URL to make it look like an Ebay Store!

I posted a while back, but didn't have pics...

I got this from my fiance for my birthday...he got it from a friend who didn't have any use for it anymore. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this bag before...how old it might be, outlet only, etc. The number is D1K-8319. Did not show up on the drilldown...

Also, how do you like the style? I'm not really a huge fan of it...it's skinny, the strap is skinny, and it falls off my shoulder all the time...but, I didn't want to tell the fiance this, since he is trying. And, he's gotten me 2/4 of my Coach items so I guess I can't say too much (except drop hints).....;)

Hi! So someone just posted this on Craigslist in my town which says

"I use to work with Coach & the store policy is that you should never tell a customer that their handbag is a replica..."

Is that true? I recently went to a Coach store to verify a bag I was buying was real, which they said it was...now I'm wondering if it really is or if they tell everyone it is real.

Does anyone know if this policy is true or not?

Thanks.

I noticed that too and reported her for fraud and outside links in addition to counterfeit merchandise.
