Hey everyone...new to the forum and fairly new to the obsessive world of Coach .

My fiance gave me a brown bag for my birthday that he had gotten from a friend. i was wondering if anyone could give me some information on it...I'm in the middle of moving and can't find my USB cable for my camera right now otherwise I would post pics...the serial is D1K-8319. Can anyone tell me anything about this style? Or do I need to send out a search party for my USB cable?

Sorry, there's no listing for the number on Coach's website so it's impossible to know what bag it's for. It might be from the outlets or from a retailer though. When you find the cable, please post pictures of the inside and outside of the bag and we may be able to identify it.

Here's an update on the Monkey Keychain :
Check THIS OUT...the seller of the monkey keychain said she purchased a LOT of them from another seller. Well, I checked into it and found that sellers' auction! They look FAKE to me...this seller has sold a TON of keychains - so easy to fake. Plus, look at the picture in the auction: the monkeys have a hook/clasp on the keyring - not something authentic ones have...right?!!? Hmmmmm???!!!???:confused1:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270120728096
I'm very curious to see what this new seller finds out!!!

Okay...the seller actually emailed me back about the Monkey Keychains...Here's what she/he said:

[FONT=Arial, Verdana]"I just wanted to let you know that I went to the Coach store and was told that they do not authenticate keychains. I do believe these are real coach items because they have the word "Coach" stamped on the back of the keychain. It is surrounded by the frame that we see on all coach stamped items. In addition, the seller did specify that these were "Coach" keychains so I am assuming that she sold me legitimate coach items. She has sold many items on e-bay and has excellent feedback so I believe she accurately protrayed this item as being authentic. Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions."
Sooooo, basically....they are ALL FAKES! That's what I get from it. And, all of the items from the ORIGINAL Seller are FAKES, too.

I saw this at Marshall's and was hoping someone could help me determine wether or not it's real?! I would be happy to buy it from Coach themselves but did not see it on their site (?could this be a sign??) I saw several on EBAY ranging from $63 tp $179 all much lower than the tag on the one at marshalls that said the MFSRP was $298. Is it perhaps simply an undesired style??
Here is a link to one that is exactly like the one I was looking at: http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-Handbag-3...ryZ63852QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Thank you so much for your help!

Marshall's does stell authentic coach things. Probably the reason the prices are all different on ebay is because they are not selling it for the original retail. Cute though!!

Ok. So I'm going to return this. I asked the seller if I can return it and this is their response:

This is authentic factory item. If you do not like it simply send it
back for refund.
Refund will be issued via paypal once item received and inspected.
shipping is not refundable.

Is this how returns are usually done? What should I do? Is it ok to send it back?

This is really cute!! Just curious, Why are you returning it? :confused1:

Write back and ask her how hard she thinks it is for a professional counterfeiter to make a leather stamp that says Coach. :cursing:

i was thinking about buying a coach off of ebay. the seller has great feedback/rating etc and i looked at all of the "signs" to spot a fake. the bag looks real to me, i was just wondering what season the hamptons weekend scribble tote is from and if anyone has an authentic they could post a pic of so i could compare. thanks a lot!

Ok. One last time...before I send it back, here's the infamous bag. Whadduya think?

I think I've asked just about everyone in here (sorry to be a pest). So I think I'll only be making purchases from the list of trusted sellers, outlets or the boutique from now on.
