What do you think of this ali? I think it is real, but need opinions.. also, what do you think of the turlock, says it looks tarnished.. does that happen a lot? Thanks!!

Reputable seller - I don't know about the turnlock though, certainly wouldn't stop me from buying it. I was actually just looking at that auction (don't worry, I'm not bidding ;) ) Seems to be going for a decent price right now!

In a way, yes, because the counterfeiters find out from boards like this why their fakes are being spotted and reported and they start correcting their mistakes, which makes it harder for us to spot them and easier for them to continue scamming people. They've already started to correct the mistakes on the keyfob hangtags, and their fakes keep getting a little more accurate every month.

Compare a genuine keyfob to a good photo of a fake with a decent magnifying glass and you should be able to spot the differences. It's all in the details. And there's a close-up of a genuine keyfob here, post # 57:

BTW, the counterfeiters are also coming out with new boxes, all white with a Coach logo in the lower right corner:

You might also want to look at a seller's other keychains, if one's fake the chances are that they all are.
And if you have a magnifying glass you can even compare the boxes.

It's a Signature Stripe Optic bag. Did they ever make sig. stripe in the optic? I didn't think so. Oh - well either way I just figured out the sig stripe optic she sold is a fake because it has sig lining. Sig lining is never ever in a sig bag.

Crista, that would be enough to concern me. I still can't say whether your bag is a fake, but I'm seeing warning signals about the seller that cause me to not trust him/her.

It wasn't easy, but I received a full refund and have shipped the purse back to the seller. It wasn't a pleasant transaction at all. The seller has been suspended from ebay and all their purse ads were removed. Thanks for all the advice!

I'm sorry it was a hassle for you, but glad you got your refund and the seller is suspended. That is good news all around. :-)
