It looks pretty good to me. It's pretty difficult to fake the leather bags without it being obvious. The seller has good feedback and a history of selling. I would be 99% certain it is authentic.

I offer this caution,however,::Even if sellers have a history of selling bags you have to be careful because there is a chance a fake could make it in there purposely or not.

Actually, I just can't decide which color I want. Both would be nice, but not an option currently.

Would the overall quality/durability/longevity be better in the made in the USA one vs. the one made in Costa Rica?

The bags from Costa Rica are of almost equal quality. What I would be more worried about between the two auctions is that the second seller says they recondition and "refurbish" bags if necessary. Refurbishing can mean re-dying, and I'd definitely ask first if a bag had been re-dyed. All too often re-dyed bags LOOK re-dyed and the colors can look uneven.
