Thanks for your posts Hyacinth and razorbackbelle0. Now I'm on the fence, anyone else have any thoughts about this bag being made in Thailand? I tried to research the reg. # and it appears it's an old bag, maybe from the early 1990's. Any other thoughts?

I had a second chance offer sent on a bag I had already won. It also came through what looked like a legitimate ebay offer, but wasn't. I emailed the seller I'd won the bag from and she said two other people had emailed her about the second chance offer, and she had never sent one. BE VERY CAREFUL ! Sometimes it's better to wait and find another.

The serial number shows it was made in 2002. The one in the lower right is the closest I could find, and the links sometimes don't work correctly, so the pictures may not even show up:

Coach was sending almost all their work to China by then but it's possible they might have tried a few Thai makers too. The only place I'm sure they DIDN'T make bags was Korea.

All three look good. The seeds should always be made of patent leather and they'll always have the little "leaf" hangtag. I've only seen one fake of these fruit coin purses and it was pretty obvious.

Watch out for fake Goldfish purses though!
